The Poppet Aircell Wool Blanket has been made in New Zealand from fine perendale fleece wool. The fine strand wool fibres are loosely spun into a double knit bulky yarn and woven into a blanket of rectangular woollen cells. The fabric material is then brushed to give the fibres softness and mass. This creates a light weight and highly effective thermal insulation cover for babies and children, both in cold and hot climates.

The Poppet Aircell Wool Blanket is perfect for all year round use, warm in winter and cool in summer. In warmer temperatures the combination of Aircell's unique weave and wool's natural structure ensures that moisture is quickly dissipated through the cellular weave, reducing overheating and keeping baby comfortable while sleeping. In cooler temperatures the Aircell weave keeps baby warm by circulating warm air and creating an insulative micro-climate.
The Poppet Aircell blanket has been enhanced with an "Ultra-Fresh" finish, a world proven antibacterial and anti-fungal process that reduces the need for excessive washing and drying. Unlike cotton, polyester and other synthetic fabrics, the Poppet Aircell blenket is naturally fire resistant and rated low fire risk so no need for polyester-fireproofing chemicals that can irritate baby skin.
Machine washable, quick-drying, can be tumble-dried.
